Choose an original pixel direction

Use loads the full prompt and canvas setting into the generator. Copy only copies text and never submits a task.

Riverside cabin

Original editable starting point; adapt it to your upload before generating.

GPT Image 2

Reinterpret the uploaded subject as an original block-built riverside cabin scene at sunrise. Use chunky cubic geometry, stepped terrain, a narrow reflective river, pine trees, warm window light, readable depth, and no game logos or copied characters. Preserve the source composition where useful.

Forest fox

Original editable starting point; adapt it to your upload before generating.

GPT Image 2

Turn the uploaded animal or main subject into an original blocky forest-fox scene. Use square pixels, cubic foliage, warm orange and rust tones, mossy ground, clear eyes, stable legs, and a simple dawn atmosphere. No text, game UI, logos, or named franchise characters.

Adventure badge

Original editable starting point; adapt it to your upload before generating.

GPT Image 2

Create an original square pixel-art adventure badge inspired by the uploaded subject. Use a bold block silhouette, limited earthy palette, crisp stepped edges, simple mountain and tree symbols, symmetrical spacing, and no words, logos, game icons, or official emblems.

Village banner

Original editable starting point; adapt it to your upload before generating.

GPT Image 2

Reimagine the uploaded scene as an original block-built village banner. Include layered rooftops, a central path, crop fields, lantern-like warm lights, cubic clouds, readable foreground and background separation, and no text, logos, game UI, or copied architecture.

Mushroom island

Original editable starting point; adapt it to your upload before generating.

GPT Image 2

Transform the uploaded subject into an original pixel-block mushroom island surrounded by calm water. Use oversized geometric mushrooms, terraced soil, tiny cubic plants, misty distance, coherent shadows, and a playful but non-branded game-like mood.

Reference remix

Original editable starting point; adapt it to your upload before generating.

GPT Image 2

Use the uploaded image as the subject and composition reference, then reinterpret it with original low-resolution pixel clusters and block-built geometry. Preserve the recognizable main subject and color hierarchy while simplifying textures. Avoid logos, text, copyrighted characters, game UI, and one-to-one copies of a known map.

Real Test-Environment Generation

This 3:2 example was generated through this page's GPT Image 2 test route. It keeps the test watermark so it cannot be mistaken for a production asset.

Original block-pixel fox in a forest

The block-built silhouette, legs, eyes, and forest depth remain clear, with no game UI, logo, or readable text. Public showcase visibility was disabled for this generation.

Treat pixel style as a set of controllable visual rules

This page follows the public product idea of reinterpreting an upload as blocky pixel art. It does not copy competitor prompts, examples, maps, or brand assets. The six choices cover environment, animal, badge, village, fantasy island, and open-ended reference remix.

Set the subject hierarchy first

Decide which subject must remain recognizable, which background relationships matter, and which details may be simplified. Pixel art is not merely a low-resolution filter; it reorganizes silhouette, color clusters, perspective, light, and depth.

Use limited shapes and colors

Clear block silhouettes, stepped edges, and a restrained palette produce a more coherent result. Asking for realistic micro-texture, dense decoration, and low-resolution pixels at the same time often creates a muddled hybrid.

Stay original instead of copying game content

Generic blocks, pixels, terraces, and cubic vegetation are useful visual language. Do not request named characters, official logos, game UI, exact maps, texture packs, or one-to-one copies of recognizable structures.

From reference image to block-art result

1. Choose a readable reference

Use a complete silhouette without watermarks, severe blur, dense text, or heavy occlusion. People and animals need a full head and important limbs; architecture and landscapes need a readable horizon and depth structure.

2. Load one prompt and adapt it

Use one card as the structural starting point, then replace subject, palette, time of day, weather, and essential details. Do not combine all six directions. Keep the editable prompt under 4,000 characters.

3. Review it as constructed pixel art

Inspect subject recognition, contour continuity, block scale, perspective, limbs, ground contact, shadows, and frame edges. A result that merely adds mosaic noise without rebuilding forms does not pass as useful block art.

Quality, rights, and use checks

Verify that the subject still works

Faces, animal legs, openings in buildings, and vehicle structure can collapse during simplification. Open the full file and reject extra limbs, floating construction, unreadable silhouettes, and broken perspective.

Inspect text and marks

Random letters and logo-like shapes often appear in stylized images. Zoom into signs, flags, clothing, and borders. When no text was requested, unexpected characters are a reason to reject or revise the output.

Keep rights and generation records

Only use images you own or are authorized to edit. Independently review the output for protected elements or excessive similarity. AI generation does not automatically grant permission to publish every result.

Make the six directions produce meaningfully different results

Environment prompts need spatial structure

The cabin, village, and mushroom-island directions depend on readable ground, path, water, horizon, and depth layers. A generic request for pixel style may only add noise. Preserve the subject placement, then define terrace shapes, block scale, palette, and light direction.

Animal prompts need anatomy and silhouette

A forest fox or pet remix should retain eyes, muzzle, ears, four limbs, and believable ground contact. Block simplification may reduce fur detail, but it must not erase legs, detach the tail, or turn the face into meaningless pixels.

Badge prompts need usable graphic structure

A badge behaves more like flat design: central silhouette, limited palette, deliberate symmetry or asymmetry, and safe margins. Generate the graphic without words first, then add exact lettering in a design tool when typography matters.

Minecraft Pixel Art FAQ

Is this an official Minecraft tool?

No. It is an unofficial NanoPic block-pixel photo workflow with no affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement from Mojang or Microsoft. It does not use official logos, characters, UI, or maps.

Which model does the page actually use?

It uses NanoPic’s existing GPT Image 2 image-to-image route, currently mapped to Replicate model openai/gpt-image-2. A competitor field is not treated as proof of NanoPic’s supplier.

Do the six choices send hidden fixed prompts?

No. Each card shows an original editable prompt. Use loads that prompt and its allowed canvas setting into the generator so you can inspect and revise it before submission.

Can I copy a famous game map?

Do not request one-to-one copies of maps, characters, buildings, texture packs, logos, or game UI. Use generic block and pixel language to create an original scene.

Does generation use credits?

Copying and editing prompts do not use credits. Submitting a generation uses the estimate shown by the page, and each retry is a separate request.
